Halloween 2020

“Putting it all together” dictation

Let’s practice dictation in a fun way!

I will read a short story, at a natural pace, a couple of times. Then I will hand out the story on a piece of paper, but the story is jumbled and sentences have been divided. The students study the story for a minute and then turn the sheet over. I will read the story a third time. Students turn over the sheet of paper, cut up the jumbled phrases and re-organise the whole story.

Back to school: back to normal?

This school year will be different indeed. The coronavirus pandemic has changed our way of life and also our education, at least for this year.

So we have to comply with many new safety and hygiene rules, such as washing our hands every hour or keeping 1,5 metre distance with our classmates or wearing masks all the time. It will be hard and we have to cope with it.
